ERWAY, a Japanese electric-assist bicycle brand, leveraged Temu's platform to become the top seller in their category within just 30 days.

Based in Sakai City, Osaka, ERWAY’s maker Shinsankai Co., Ltd. has shown how Japanese companies can successfully utilize global e-commerce platforms to reach new customer segments.

ERWAY joined Temu's Japanese marketplace when it opened to local retailers in June 2025. Now, its rapid expansion has created new local employment opportunities in its new facilities in Sakai City, as it continues plans to expand its product line for women and elderly customers.
