I explored the streets of Shoreditch in London to gather up some weathered old advertisement textures for my latest canvas "Sara III 52".
My process starts with a combination of digital and film photography to capture the model, Capture one for grading, Photoshop CC for digital conceptualisation. I then build the canvas, go hunting for real weathered paper textures from the London streets and collage them onto the canvas. I then add some drippy tags, add the model, the pre designed digital layers, spray paint some shapes and finally add the gold leaf details.
