Uganda Railways Corporation has received bids for the rehabilitation of the railway track under the East African Community Railway Rehabilitation Project.
While supervising the process, Project Coordinator Steven Wakasenza noted that the procurement is being conducted in line with the African Development Bank guidelines.
The East African Rail Rehabilitation Project is a flagship regional initiative financed by the African Development Bank at a cost of 300 million US dollars.
