About this event

Join Exceptional Individuals for a transformative event celebrating neurodiversity in the workplace. Hosted by Nat Hawley, a renowned neurodiversity advocate, and co-hosted by Joan Laine, Senior Consultant and Diversability Lead at Turner & Townsend, this session explores advocacy, collaboration, and inclusivity.

Gain insights into late diagnosis, workplace advocacy, practical tools for empowerment, self-advocacy tips, and community connections.

Exceptional Individuals are dedicated to creating wider employment opportunities and fostering appreciation for neurodivergent individuals. We support individuals and employers through lived experience and expertise, aiming to build an inclusive, understanding culture.

Nat Hawley, a Pride of Britain award nominee and leading neurodiversity advocate, brings passion and expertise to the session. Joan Laine, diagnosed with dyslexia at 58, transformed her journey into advocacy, introducing neurodiversity initiatives at Turner & Townsend and becoming their "Diversability" Lead.
