This towel has a 35% increased absorption that is combined with a finer weave to deliver superior streak-free finish. Waffle Weave construction involves splitting the polyester and polymide fibers that comprise microfiber and densely weaving them into a waffle textured towel. The silk-banded edges ensure that the towel is 100% scratch-free. Traditional waffle weave towels are bound at the edges with polyester or cotton threads that often scratch surfaces and burn becoming rough and brittle when dried in the dryer.
