Have you ever seen a mix-breed of Basset Hound and Rottweiler? If yes, you might agree with me about the fact that they are really cute and adorable.

As the name suggests, they are a cross-breed of Basset Hound and Rottweilers and are also known by the name Bassetweiler.

Basset Hounds are scent hounds, which means that they were bred to hunt by following the scent of their prey, which in most cases were rabbits or other rodents. Their ability to smell scents is just amazing and second only to that of Bloodhound.

Rottweilers were bred to drive cattle to the market. Then they were used to pull carts. Rottweilers require extensive Socialization but they are loving family dogs and know how to protect their family members.
