India citizenship law: Media accused of pro-government coverage

Описание: Media coverage of the protests against a controversial citizenship law in India has ranged from being neutral to avowedly pro-government, say press freedom advocates.
The law puts citizens from three neighbouring countries on a fast-track to obtaining citizenship, but discriminates against Muslims.
And that has done a disservice to India's viewers.
