Fede Baracchi e la sua band eseguono dal vivo il brano Hazey Jane II, in omaggio al cantautore inglese Nick Drake, morto misteriosamente nel 1972, a ventisei anni, lasciando ai posteri opere musicali enigmatiche, eleganti, meravigliose.

In questo brano l’inquieto protagonista si dichiara sopraffatto dalla frenesia del mondo circostante, così affollato da non poter nemmeno guardare fuori dalla finestra la mattina. Ma la difficoltà più grande viene dall'interno; dalla ricerca di noi stessi e della nostra strada. Forse l'unica possibilità per salvarsi è prendere il volo e distaccarsi da tutto ciò che è materiale.

Questa performance fa parte di 'A Song For Hazey Jane', una playlist di cinque video che, dopo quattro reinterpretazioni di Nick, culmina con l'esecuzione di un brano inedito di Fede Baracchi: Osservare, ispirato alla musica del cantautore britannico.

Fede Baracchi and his band perform live the song Hazey Jane II, a tribute to the English songwriter Nick Drake, who mysteriously died in 1972, when he was just twenty-six, leaving to posterity enigmatic, elegant, marvelous musical pieces.

In this song the unquiet protagonist declares himself overwhelmed by the bustle of the world around him, so crowded that he can't even look out the window in the morning. But the biggest trouble comes from the inside; from the search for ourselves and for our path. Maybe the only way to save us is taking to the skies and breaking away from what is material.

This exhibition is included in 'A Song For Hazey Jane', a five-video playlist, four of witch are Nick's reinterpretations, while the last one is an original song by Fede Baracchi named Osservare, inspired to the music of the British composer.
