🎄✨ Welcome back — it’s Day 4 of the Christmas Yoga Challenge ✨🎄
Today we’re focusing on Supine Twist — one of the most nourishing poses for your back and nervous system.
This gentle twist works by slowly rotating the spine, releasing built-up tension and allowing fresh circulation to flow. It’s deeply restorative and perfect if you’ve been sitting a lot or feeling stiff and overwhelmed.
Key benefits of today’s pose: • Releases tension in the back and spine
• Improves spinal mobility and hydrates spinal discs
• Gently stretches hips, glutes, shoulders, chest, and obliques
• Stimulates digestion and supports gentle detox
• Calms the nervous system and supports better sleep
Think of this pose as a gentle reset for your body — wringing out tension and inviting in ease.
Move slowly, use pillows or blankets for support, and let your breath do the work.
Sometimes, less effort brings the biggest relief. ❤️🎁
Take 5 (or more) deep breaths on each side.
After that , you can bring both knees to the chest and rock side to side. You can also do it between each side.
You can definitely do this in the bed.
