Stranda founder and shaper Mats Drougge explains the design of the Shorty in this video.The Shorty is our original surf shape. Desgined to be ridden longer than your regular board. It’s well known for being as fun on the groomers as in the backcountry. For 2024 we updated the topsheet design and made some adjustment to the nose flex adding double alu-stringers. This dramatically decreases vibrations giving the Shorty an unprecedented calm ride on hard pack.
