❖ INGREDIENTS ❖
● Buns
1/4 tsp - Sugar
1/4 cup - Boiling water
1/4 cup - Cold water
1 tsp - Dried active yeast
25g - Shortening
4 tbsp - Sugar
160g - Plain Flour
60g - Cornflour
1/4 tsp - Cream of tartar
20g - Plain flour
1 1/4 tsp - Baking powder
● Scallion Oil:
8 tbsp - Peanut oil
1/2 - Small onion
3 - Scallions
● Filling:
1 tbsp - Light soya sauce
1 tsp - Dark soy sauce
1/2 - Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp - Oyster sauce
3 1/2 tbsp - Sugar
1/4 tsp - Salt
1/2 tbsp - Sesame oil
1/3 cup - Water
1 tbsp - Scallion oil
150g - Char siu
● Cornflour Slurry:
1 1/2 tbsp - Cornflour
1/8 cup - Water
