Louis Raul Tovar Contreras is a Mexican pilot, earth scientist, and analog astronaut with more than 200 flight hours in single and twin-engine aircraft. He has minor in Biology and is currently studying a Bachelor in Earth Sciences at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He won the 1st place in the International Air and Space Program (IASP) organized by NASA in Huntsville, Alabama, for my project for an artificial muscle that will be launched to the ISS next year, He served as an analog astronaut on the VULCAN mission at LunAres Research Station in Piła, Poland, with the role of medical officer, where they simulate a real mission to the moon for 15 days in a special habitat.
