Описание: When should you take an anomaly scan? Why is it important?
Ideally, an anomaly scan can be taken around 20 weeks of pregnancy to check for the baby's growth structure and see if there are any issues with the baby.

If you have missed taking the scan during the 20 th week, you can still proceed to take it during 22 to 26 weeks too.

The reason why it is advised to take the anomaly scan around the 20th week is because : it is the time where you can clearly see the baby's parts and if at all the baby has some kind of issue and you have to take unfortunate decisions according to our law.
