Army Dog Tyson, from the elite 2 Para (Special Forces), displayed extraordinary courage during a counter-terror operation in Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir.
While leading troops toward a terrorist hideout, Tyson was shot in the leg. But despite being injured, he continued advancing, helping security forces pinpoint the exact location of the terrorists. The operation resulted in the elimination of three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists.
Tyson was later airlifted for medical treatment and is reported to be stable.
His bravery is a powerful reminder that courage in the Indian Army isn’t limited to men in uniform — sometimes it walks on four legs.
