Описание: Black-centered speculative fiction anthologies, like our panelist's "Slay: Tales of the Vampire Noire" (Nicole Givens Kurtz - 2020 ), "Blerderotica" (Penelope Flynn - 2020) Black Magic Women (Sumiko Saulson - 2018), and the Bram Stoker Award Nominated "Sycorax's Daughters" (Linda Addison - 2017) are often the first exposure a reader has to a previously unfamiliar African Diaspora author. They also give Black writers opportunities outside of the white-dominated literary world and are often edited by African Diaspora editors and published by Black publishers who have a vested interest in both exposures for Black authors and Black Excellence. Ever since Sheree R. Thomas' "Dark Matter" started it all back in 2005, the world has seen a plethora of Black sci-fi, fantasy, and horror anthology bringing new Black voices into the lives of readers.
