Building reports have identified major structural issues including incorrectly strapped roof frames, substandard brickwork, walls out of level, and waterproofing not meeting Australian standards. Building and Energy issued a directive in August to fix 49 defects within 70 days, but almost none have been addressed despite the deadline expiring.
