Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (1997) Level 9 - Fuel Station Launch

Описание: This level was actually the "Demo" level when the game came out in 1997. I spent 8 hours the summer of 97 downloading
the 20MB file. I played it over and over again for a few years until I got bored of it, because I never got the
full game until years later. I have only played it one time since then, when I finally beat the game for the
first time in 2019.

Finally got Dark Forces 2 up and running using the Jedi Knight Remastered fan made mod. Games from this era (late 1996 - 2001) are
nearly impossible to run on modern systems, due to incompatible hardware systems from the time.

Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II was released 2 years after Dark Forces 1, for Windows 95 (whereas Dark Forces 1 was DOS based). Unlike
the first game, which used animated cutscenes, Jedi Knight uses FMV, as was the fad at the time it was released. The follow up game,
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, released in 2002, returns the game to animated cutscenes. As such, Jedi Knight is the only game in the
4 game series that uses FMV.

Dark Forces 1 takes place in between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, while Jedi Knight and the rest of the series take
place after Return of the Jedi, during the time when the New Republic was still establishing itself and fighting with the Imperial Remnant.
