“Michel” is one of my earliest musical pieces. Its melody is carried by a flute and supported by soft guitar harmonies.
I first composed this melody while sitting by the sea. It was a simple and emotional moment - I just began to play, letting the music emerge naturally.
The image that represents this piece is a young boy sitting on the shore, playing his flute while looking out at the ocean. In many ways, that boy represents me at the very beginning of my musical journey.
Today, the piece has been newly arranged, while preserving the original melody that started it all.
