As someone who grew up playing a Yamaha student model trumpet and later stepped up to a Yamaha professional model trumpet (still playing it to this day almost seven years later!), Yamaha's trumpet line holds a near-and-dear place in my heart. Today, we examine a more modern addition to the lineup, made in China rather than the standard Japan factory, and we test to see if this trumpet is up to the same quality & playability standards as Yamaha's other instruments are known for.
