🔹 What is a Parliamentary System of Government?
A parliamentary system of government is one where the head of state and the head of government are separate individuals. The head of state is a ceremonial role, often occupied by a president or monarch, while the head of government, the Prime Minister, performs executive functions. This system features a fusion of powers, where members of the parliament are also part of the executive, ensuring collective responsibility and mutual understanding between branches.
