this week, we complete one of the most important systems for our 5-acre off-grid homestead in southern Italy — a complete diy rainwater harvesting system build. from digging trenches by hand to connecting ibc tanks to roof gutters, we're building a sustainable water system with zero experience and lots of problem-solving.
in this episode, you'll see us build an off-grid water system step-by-step as we install underground pipes, set up ibc tanks and prepare for an off-grid washing machine. we're creating a self-sufficient homestead using only rainwater for our garden and future food forest in rural Italy.
