{116} S-100 Solid State Music CB1A Workalike with Bonus Eight Bit Output Port and Serial Port

Описание: The original Solid State Music CB1A single board 8080 computer included a strobed 8-bit input port. The workalike in a previous video included a RS flip-flop based serial port as an alternate to the 8-bit input port.
This video is the second design I mentioned in video {113} which includes an 8-bit output port in addition to the existing 8-bit input port.
One bit of the input and output ports is peeled off to use as a TTL level serial port. The strobe latched input can be configured via a DIP switch into the transparent mode of operation.
