Creating good reports from bad data is more dangerous than you expect

But what many don't realise, is that statistics, Excel and all kinds of Lean 6 Sigma tools will gladly generate very believable reports and 'management information' from poorly collected data.
This video shows some examples of well intentioned actions leading to wrong data registration. I hope it serves to make you think about how your production data is collected and whether you might be unintentionally generating wrong management information.
