◼ About:
Well, I’ve been thinking about doing something new on YouTube, focusing mainly on ideas and maybe lifestyle, and I came up with Cosmic Academia. What I wanted was not an aesthetic movement, but something to be anchored to; something that reflects the way I think and unites everything around the tracks I’ve been creating.

I usually prefer things in a more practical way, with influences closer to Brutalism and Industrialism. I’ve always been a fan of Cosmic Horror, and when I started this channel, I had some shapeless visions in mind. Also, I was so focused on music creation that I barely thought about anything else.

Now that I understand better how YouTube works and how everything connects, I decided to add this new layer to the project, and I plan to make this my full-time job. So I hope you guys help me with this, with works that fit the themes and aesthetics, thoughts, habits, ideas, whatever comes to mind. What do you think?

◼ Characteristics of the tracks:
H. P. Lovecraft is remembered worldwide as the creator of the Cthulhu Mythos and the one who gave shape to cosmic horror. His stories spoke of ancient beings like Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep, and Yog-Sothoth; entities so vast and indifferent that human life became insignificant.
In works like The Call of Cthulhu, The Shadow over Innsmouth, and The Dunwich Horror, he left behind visions of dread and mystery that changed horror literature forever. Lovecraft supposedly said his inspiration came from dreams.
On this channel, I create ambient music as an attempt to emulate those dreams. My goal is for these tracks to serve as background music for writing or reading horror stories, especially Lovecraft’s.
You will usually find deep-space ambience, vinyl-like sound artifacts, drones, distant choirs, decaying harmonics, long reverbs, and distorted audio recordings.
Some tracks are inspired by specific stories, some by cosmic horror itself, and others are closer to the Cosmic Academia idea of quiet ancient universities, haunted libraries, and late-night study sessions.
