So the beauty of these off-road trim packages is that you can still use your pick up truck for pick up truck stuff. this tremor can still tow over 10,000lbs and has a decent payload. whereas the more extreme purpose build off-road trucks like the Ford Raptor are really not meant for actual pick up truck use like towing trailers and hauling gear around.

At the back this F150 with the tremor off-road package we get dual exhaust, recovery hooks and a fully locking rear differential with 3.73 gears which I really like. Having a locking rear differential can add a ton of traction when on rough terrain.

moving up the truck we get skid plates but more impressively we get the Raptors 4WD Auto transfercase that can fully mechanically lock up in 4wd high which is amazing, you get the best of both worlds. no other F150 gets this upgraded transfercase option. and having this beefy unit really helps with the off-road traction and how the truck distributes the power.

up front we get some upgrades suspension like an extra inch of travel from the tremor specific off-road tune shocks. upgraded front hub knucles and upgraded upper control arms all help to support this front end on rough terrain.
