Scotty Pollacheck and Team Strutmasters Wins At Southern Nationals

Strutmasters.com founder Chip Lofton was there as Scotty Pollacheck took him the second NHRA Pro Stock motorcycle victory of his career. He was especially pleased to be able to celebrate with his wife Susan -- who was absent due to Covid-19 restrictions when Pollacheck won in 2020 in the US Nationals at Indianapolis.

Pollacheck was the event's fastest qualifier in the Pro Stock Motorcycle class and survived two close calls for victory. He rides for Matt Smith Racing -- which prepares bikes for Pollacheck, four-time and reigning series champion Matt Smith and his wife Angie. The team entered a fourth bike at this event, for rider John Hall.

Strutmasters.com was founded in 1999 when Chip Lofton had trouble with the factory air suspension system on his 1989 Lincoln Continental. Lofton developed the first fully assembled suspension conversion kit and fixed his vehicle a few weeks after it failed on a family vacation. The company still designs, assembles, sells, ships and services all of its products at Roxboro, NC -- about an hour from the state capital of Raleigh.
