For folks that are new to the hobby, a simple but effective way to validate the antenna coil is connected properly and working as it should. In my case, I had removed the antenna coil from the circuit and cleaned up the wire dress issues, etc., for the Zenith 5-S-127, chassis 5516 from 1937.
