HERE COMES THE SUN (Slow-motion UKULELE Tutorial with ON-SCREEN TAB)

Описание: This tutorial uses slow-motion to teach you to play a fingerstyle instrumental version of "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. Studying techniques in slow-mo allows you to hyper-focus on the movement and placement of fingers on both hands...a strategy I've used very effectively with my students for many years. Here are MORE SUGGESTED STRATEGIES to use as you learn this fingerstyle arrangement:
1) My arrangement is unique...we use ongoing monotonic notes between the melody notes in this chord melody version of this song. Monotonic notes are a single note that gets constantly repeated during a section of music. In this case, your thumb will repeatedly pluck an open 4th string G note...this adds depth and complexity to this chord melody. This technique gets fully explained in the tutorial.
2) Notice that there are several times where you play ARPEGGIOS...where you keep a chord held down while you play the chord's individual notes one at a time (though you need to lift a finger off the chord in a few places...this is pointed out in the tutorial). This can really simplify your learning, and make the fingerpicking a lot easier.
3) USE TAB AS A STUDY TOOL (not just a play-along tool): While watching the slow-mo portions, have the free TAB in hand (without playing along at first), and focus on hearing and seeing the finger movements of both your right and left hands.
4) As you play along, if you come across any short sections of the arrangement that you find extra challenging...focus extra attention on that section (obvious but important!). After you've practiced it many times, go back a few measures and play the phrase just before that challenging section...so you can practice smoothly entering that tricky part.
