After the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Madeleine, this mansion became his refuge as he withdrew from the world, living in solitude for over two decades.
Inside, the untouched rooms are filled with Eric’s fascinating collections—vintage computer hardware, model cars, and rare LEGO sets—each item telling the story of a man clinging to the past in the wake of grief. Nature has begun to reclaim the property, with ivy creeping up the once-pristine walls, yet the estate’s charm and haunting beauty remain.
Eric and Madeleine’s children moved away long ago, leaving the mansion to decay, but as we explored its forgotten corridors, we could feel the weight of the memories left behind.
