Disneyland Railroad at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
Opening with the park in 1955, the Disneyland Railroad has always been guests' first impression of "The Happiest Place on Earth". Incorporated alongside Walt Disney's life-long fascination with steam locomotives, this transportation train ride makes stops at Main Street U.S.A., New Orleans Square, Mickey's Toontown, and Tomorrowland. Along the way, passengers experience the sights and sounds of the park, plus the Rivers of America, the Grand Canyon, and Primeval World. Disneyland is home to five locomotives. Three from Baldwin Locomotive Works: Fred Gurley (1884), Ward Kimball (1902), and Ernest S. Marsh (1925). Two were made by WED Enterprises: C. K. Holliday (1955), and E.P. Ripley (1955).
NAPHA celebrates 70 years of Disneyland, and the countless grand-circle tours provided by the Disneyland Railroad.
