WEATHER STORY:
Heading into the holiday week, we're tracking a milder forecast, but rain chances will be possible on a few days.
For those traveling, we're generally looking at seasonal temperatures for most of the week, but it looks to get quite warm for Christmas Day! Highs are forecast to reach the upper 50s and could even get into the low 60s. The record high is 64° for Christmas Day, and we may get close! Even if we don't, we'll likely end up in the Top 10 list of warmest Christmas Days.
Although we are not tracking any major storms that would bring travel impacts, there will likely be some rain around at a few points during the week. The first chance will come Monday evening through early Tuesday, when some scattered showers will be possible. The next comes overnight Christmas Eve. and through the day on Christmas, again with scattered showers.
This second round of showers should exit during the first part of the day Friday, before drier weather heads in to start the weekend, ahead of yet another chance for rain showers by next Sunday.
While we won't have a white Christmas this year, at least it will be a warm one!
