After removing both lower control arms from the subframe it was clear they needed replacing, however, after closer inspection the right hand one wasn't too bad and so this video is all about giving it a light refurb as well as replacing the lower ball joint and and replacing the standard, worn bushes with polyurethane ones which should also help give more responsive handling.
I had a good go with the Bosch drill bits I used to drill the ball joint out. While I managed to snap two, I do think that was more my fault than the drill bits, probably too much pressure and not enough speed. They ended up cutting through very quickly and were super sharp afterwards!
