In this video, I take a look at a vintage Longines rectangular wristwatch from the Art Deco era, powered by the Longines caliber 25.17 manual wind movement. I cover a brief history of Longines, the design context of rectangular watches in the 1930s and 1940s, and show the watch running after service.
This piece is a great example of how Longines balanced refinement, reliability, and understated elegance during one of the most influential periods in watch design.
