Which Pokémon Battle do you want to see next?
I had the idea to make a LEGO Pokémon animation even before the official partnership with LEGO was announced.
I've been working on this video since August, and I've finally finished it just in time for the unveiling of the first official sets. It's the longest animation I've ever made.
I had a lot of fun and learned a great deal making it. For the first time, I created my own character rigs and animated characters that aren't humanoid. I also looked at many references from the Pokémon anime series.
The entire process probably took around 200 hours of work, not including rendering time, which was approximately 75 hours for the final video.
None of this would have been possible without the amazing MOCs by @brickmillstudios3283 So a huge shoutout to him.
And also to @johnloffredo who made the music in this video, which significantly contributes to the mood.
I hope you like the result as much as I do, and hopefully more Pokémon animations will follow in the future.
