This musical poem is based on a children’s book and stage play by Lito Seizani.

It tells the story of Princess Radia, three vain princes, and Hotar, a poor but honest young man who dares to ask for her hand in marriage. The music follows the emotional arc of the tale rather than a strict symphonic form.
In this piece, I introduce the bansuri, a traditional Indian bamboo flute; also two electronic instruments on Part 5, a soft pad and a sustained drone.
