Trying my friend Ruben’s Texas BBQ popup ⬇️
@crosstown_craftbbq (on IG) makes in my opinion the best Texas BBQ in Toronto, and it all comes down to Ruben’s passion, love, and care for the craft.
He drives down to Texas to train with the best pitmasters and brings back his knowledge to Toronto. For this pop up @brunswickbierworks , he spent 48 hours working non-stop smoking 150 lbs of meat by himself, with help from friends and family, with a mission to share Texas BBQ done the proper way with Toronto.
Definitely checkout Ruben’s next pop-up if you want incredible Texas BBQ. Forgot to mention this in the video but the Pork Belly, double-smoked was my absolute favourite bite! So plump, so succulent, so tender, sweet and tangy
Special thanks to @i.get.food for teaming up with me in an attempt to devour 16 pounds of bbq (we tried our best to finish but took home lots of leftovers)
