Описание: Apart from the soon to be demolished Power Station, Fiddler’s Ferry is a historic area located along the Sankey Canal in Warrington, Cheshire, England. It boasts a tavern (dating back to 1762), a canal (the oldest canal in England since the Industrial Revolution), a marina and boat yard and the River Mersey, which also had a ferry crossing for over 800 years (until the advent of the Manchester Ship Canal in 1894) for which the area is now famous. But who was the Fiddler?
