My goals and reasons for Master Cleanse
The goal was 11 days without food! I’ve done 10 so I’m pretty proud about that.
Although many people do Master Cleanse to loose an extra weight, i had different reasons:
1. Experiment of how my body and mind will react to fasting
2. Detox from toxins accumulated inside me over the lifetime
3. Overall well-being improvement
4. Understanding what mystics and sages going through during their prolong fasting
5. Discovery of our own limitations
My stats - start / end:
Start 80.5 kg or 177 lbs
End 74.5 kg or 164.5 lbs
Dropped 6 kg or 12.5 lbs (5kg in first 5 days)
Negatives:
Diarrhea
Headache
Low blood pressure
Positives:
Enhanced senses, mainly smell
Clean nose and better sleep - morning / night allergies gone
More time during the day - cooking shopping
Problems look trivial, appreciation of simple things
Light Weight and easy movement
Neutral:
Strength, Endurance, Fatigue,
Conclusion:
Worthy to do once a year or anytime before a change of diet
-Be careful with restarting/rebuilding your digestion from scratch
4 weeks into it - gained 2 kgs, energy level is much better, mobility and endurance has improved, overall I feel better
