Solotech Vancouver Supplies the Solo-Tube Celebration Stanchion LED Lights for the NHL Canucks at the Rogers Arena.
Al Hutchings of the Canucks was planning with local lighting expert Larry Darling to see if they could do something with the clear stanchions or posts between the safety glass.
They came up with putting LED strips inside the stanchions. Many challenges had to be overcome, including cold, moisture, and the safety of the players and the crashing into the glass damaging the LEDs. They turned to Brian Konechny at Solotech Vancouver to make it happen.
Solotech supplied and installed 76 customized stanchions with rugged military type connectors.
