The superhero and villian comic con convention in the chicagoland area at the Mccormick place. This was my first year as an a cosplay con goer and not as a vendor on the block stage. I was getting photographs of the Cosplayers and handmade costumes from the DC comics and Marvel comic fans. Also there was alot of movie, pop culture and entertainment costumes.
All in all it was like a huge party of fans and comic book fanatics. these. I had a chance to tour the artists alley and see some of the awesome marvel artists and also meet up with some radio and tv personalities. I also did some sweet body paint on some cosplayers of Vegeta from Dragonball z, Bleach and Ichicago. They had a main stage where the Cosplay competition was taking place and there was alot of author of Horror like R.L. STINE, goosebumps, Mark Millar, Rob Guillory chew and farmhand, YaYA han cosplayer, Dc legends of tommorow actor and more!
They had some awesome board games like magic the gathering and comic guests and entertainment guests.
The actress caity lotz from arrow, DCs legends of tomorrow and Charlie cox from Daredevil was there.
Pop and geek fans were in full superhero force also supporting the LGBTQ Character comics. Featured in the online video is the whole cast of Black Panther movie by Marvel Comics and I also saw a Guardians of the Galaxy baby groot! We passed by some realistic Light sabers from star wars the last jedi, The empire Strikes back ,the return of the JEdi and Solo A star wars Story.
