Kofta Curry Masala
Ingredients for Kofta Masala Powder:
Roasted chickpeas 1/2 cup
Black peppercorns 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Green cardamom 3-4
Poppy seeds 1 tsp
Ingredients for Chicken Marination:
Chicken mince 500 g
Onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
Green chilies (chopped) 1 tbsp
Green coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Kofta masala powder 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Ingredients for Kofta Curry Masala:
Oil 1/2 cup
Onion paste 2 cups
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Kofta masala powder 1 tbsp
Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt 1 cup
Prepared kofta
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Kewra water few drops
Green coriander (chopped) as required
Green chilies (chopped) as required
Directions for Kofta Masala Powder Preparation:
In a grinder add roasted chickpeas, black peppercorns, cumin seeds, green cardamom, poppy seeds and grind them well into fine powder. Set aside.
Directions for Chicken Marination:
In a bowl add chicken mince, onion, green chilies, green coriander, cumin powder, red chili powder, kofta masala powder, ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
Make small kofta shaped balls from this mixture and set aside.
Directions for Kofta Curry Masala Preparation:
In a pot, heat oil and add onion paste, cook for a minute.
Add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, kofta masala powder and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt and cook until oil separates.
Add prepared kofta and cover and cook over low medium flame for 15-20 mins.
Now add garam masala powder, kewra water and cook for 1-2 mins.
Now dish it out and garnish it with green coriander, green chilies and enjoy. Your Kofta Curry Masala is ready.
