This animatic takes place 7 years after Thunder Bringer. Telemachus is at his fathers palace having to deal with his mothers suitors. Penelope (portrayed as Blaze the Cat) is refusing to pick a husband and disgusted by her suitors whereas Telemachus hides out in his room so as not to get in any confrontation with the suitors. He wishes to have the strength to stand up against them but lacks the power and skill his father possesses. All the while, Athena (and for a brief moment Hermes) are watching over Telemachus. At the end of the song Telemachus is preparing to fight with Antinious after he insults Penelope.
