Beginning in 1966 through 1980, James Brown made 18 appearances on “The Mike Douglas Show.” In this one particular show,
Mike Douglas asked his guest David Suskind a question about the then current black protests on college campuses, which led James Brown to get into a heated argument with Suskind. This is not the first time that these two men clashed on Mike’s show.
This episode originally aired circa 1968-1969.
