This is the longplay of the game Bomberman 2, an action and puzzle game released exclusively for Nintendo DS in 2008 in Japan, with the name Custom Battle Bomberman and in Europe, where it is called Bomberman 2, which should not be confused with the version from the NES.

The plot of this game takes place in a highly technological city known as Grid City, which was suddenly invaded by hackers. As the soldiers rage, every zone of the city is invaded, causing the infection rate to rise to 99.9% before a hero can stop it. Bomberman connects to the system to fight the virus.

In this game we control Bomberman and, unlike previous games, here he has a life bar instead of a single hit point. The hero must face seven zones, with 10 stages each. Almost every stage has parts that can (and should) be equipped so that Bomberman increases his attributes and can use other types of bombs. Each equipped part completely changes the hero's appearance and the parts can be chosen before starting each phase. The stages have several objectives, such as defeating all enemies, winning the stage with a certain number of bombs or destroying a number of blocks. In addition to the objectives, the stages have alternative paths to obtain a certain part to equip the hero and to access them it is necessary to return to the stage equipped with the necessary powers and abilities. With each stage completed, Bomberman receives experience and increases his level, allowing him to carry heavier equipment. The game is good, very creative, has good graphics and a good soundtrack (with some very striking songs), but it could be a little better executed, meaning that the person has to mix up the parts a lot to choose the skills. The hero levels up, but each level allows him to carry heavier equipment but does not increase his attributes without using the equipment, which could give a little more freedom to customize the equipment. The video was made in two parts: one with the normal playthrough, obtaining all the parts (and using the ones that can be used) and the other I recorded a "boss rush" with the exclusive parts of Rank S (I used a completely complete save in this part), which were only used in sets (including the powerful Max Bomberman).
