Exploring some McDowell County West Virginia Hollers AND Surrounding Areas in the spring time. Deep in the Appalachia sits amazing coal camp housing, abandoned homes, and beautiful scenic hollers. McDowell County has been one of the most impacted areas in the country when the coal mining / industrial era collapsed, leaving many to leave the area to find jobs. Those who stay, are unbelievably strong. I'm going to drive through some of the forgotten places and also check out some beautiful scenic parts as well. Let's check it out...
