Howrah Bridge is a bridge with a suspended span over the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India. Commissioned in 1943, the bridge was originally named the New Howrah Bridge, because it replaced a pontoon bridge at the same location linking the two cities of Howrah and Kolkata (Calcutta). On 14 June 1965 it was renamed Rabindra Setu. It is still popularly known as the Howrah Bridge and Kolkata Howrah Bridge
The bridge is one of four on the Hooghly River and is a famous symbol of Kolkata and West Bengal.

হাওড়া ব্রিজ বা রবীন্দ্র সেতু হুগলি নদীর উপর অবস্থিত কলকাতা ও হাওড়া শহরের মধ্যে সংযোগরক্ষাকারী সেতুগুলির মধ্যে অন্যতম। ১৮৭৪ সালে পুঁটন ব্রীজ নামক একটি ভাসমান হাওড়া সেতু নির্মিত হয়। পরে ১৯৪৫ সালে পুরনো সেতুটির বদলে বর্তমান ক্যান্টিলিভার সেতুটির উদ্বোধন হয়। ১৯৬৫ সালের ১৪ জুন সেতুটির নাম পরিবর্তন করে রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের নামে রবীন্দ্র সেতু রাখা হয়। এই জাতীয় (ক্যান্টিলিভার বা বহির্বাহু) সেতুগুলির মধ্যে রবীন্দ্র সেতু বিশ্বে ষষ্ঠ বৃহত্তম। হাওড়া ব্রিজ ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গের হুগলি নদীর উপর অবস্থিত বড় খিলানযুক্ত একটি ঝুলন্ত সেতু৷ সেতুটি ১৯৪৩ সালে অনুমোদিত হয়৷ প্রকৃতপক্ষে সেতুটির নামকরণ করা হয় নিউ হাওড়া ব্রিজ হিসাবে, কেননা একইস্থানে অবস্থিত কলকাতা এবং হাওড়া জেলার মধ্যে সংযোগ রক্ষাকারী একটি ভাসমান সেতুর পরিবর্তে এই সেতুটি নির্মাণ করা হয়৷
