Omari scholars maintain that the meaning of the term maula used in one of the famous sentences in the illustrious sermon of Ghadeer is that of someone who is beloved, lover, helper, or ally. Their only and main evidence to support this assertion is the premise that the sermon of ghadeer was delivered in response to complaints of companions. In essence, according to Omaris, the Nabi صلى الله عليه و آله و سلم was defending Amir al-Munineen's reputation عليه السلام, addressing ill feelings that some companions had for him, and reaffirming that he is indeed an ally and helper of Muslims and Muslims should love him.
This series of speeches refutes the assertion that the sermon of Ghadeer was delivered in response to complaints of sahaba.
For the best learning experience, it is advised to watch the series in sequential order as marked in the titles of episodes.
