GAINS FROM WORKING OUT ONE DAY PER WEEK? I had someone ask me if they only have one day per week to get into the gym, could they still make gains if they do some lighter bodyweight and assistance workout at home for 2 days a week. My answer is, of course, but is it the best way to make gains? Perhaps not, especially if your strength outgrows your ability to be challenged by the lighter weights or equipment you have at home. In the end though, any workout is better than no workout and if you really challenge your power and strength fibers for the one day you DO get into the gym, then use the home workouts as a way of hitting your endurance fibres, it is very possible for you to make some good progress in muscularity and fat loss.
