Anand, Election Management General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna, and Joint General Secretary CTR Nirmal Kumar, are accompanying him on the visit. However, officials clarified that only Vijay has been summoned for questioning, and that too as a witness, not as an accused. Sources said the accompanying leaders are providing moral and logistical support and will not be part of the questioning. These second-level leaders have already appeared before the CBI twice earlier and recorded their statements. Investigators are focusing on key issues such as the anticipated crowd size versus the actual turnout at the rally, Vijay’s arrival schedule, the sudden surge in attendance, and alleged lapses in coordination between TVK organisers and the local police.
