On Saturday the 25th of February, a few friends flew their paragliders along one of South Africa’s most scenic flying routes, from Hermanus to Stanford. I took the opportunity to capture the incredible adventure with my GoPro Max. I have never experienced more perfect conditions to fly this route, with the lift band extending over a kilometre in front of the ridge, and the clouds sucking nicely. I flew to Stanford, then back to Hermanus, and finally back to landing in Stanford. An unforgettable day. Thanks to David Clancy for fetching us in Stanford, and thanks to Luke, Nic and Jonathan for the epic cruise!
